Seat Classes on Moroccan Trains

Morocco’s railway system, operated by ONCF, offers various seating options to cater to different budgets and comfort levels. Whether traveling on a standard Al Atlas train or the high-speed Al Boraq, passengers can choose from the following classes:

First Class (Al Atlas)

First-class compartments on Al Atlas trains provide a more spacious and comfortable journey. Each compartment has six seats, air conditioning, and a quieter environment, making it ideal for long-distance travel.

Second Class (Al Atlas)

Second-class seats are more affordable and arranged in compartments with eight seats. While they offer a budget-friendly option, they do not always have air conditioning, and seating is more compact.

For overnight journeys, couchette compartments provide four berths, allowing passengers to sleep comfortably. These require advance reservations and are a great choice for long-distance night travel.
